We export from the US to 45 countries around the globe.
This position will ensure seamless delivery and customer service by providing all necessary logistics for an on time and accurate customer delivery.

This position will report to the Planning and Customer Support Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Monitor customer orders end to end - order to delivery Monitor email communication - 95%
communication is via email Primary contact for Freight Forwarders Coordinate and Monitor logistics Understand animal welfare requirements and provide direction on any needs such as de-hydration Intimate understanding of airline routes, timings and alternatives Book airline to best accommodate the need for timing and routing Rebook shipments when necessary to ensure animal care and delivery within 55 hours Recoup any equipment or data necessary to resolve issues regarding mortality Coordinate with hatcheries on customer's behave to secure replacement stock when necessary Responsible for daily export operations and resolution of any issues impacting the movement of goods across international borders Process export documentation through their life cycle, including maintaining all applicable trade compliance records in compliance with regulatory and company requirements Elevates complex issues to Aviagen Compliance Manager Job
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred Working in global or 24 hour operation Foreign language preferred Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel domestically on a limited basis to accompany shipments, attend seminars, and interact with our freight forwarders, compliance auditors Detailed and team oriented Able to work in multiple tasks and enjoy working in a fast paced environment Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Able to work independently Ability to solve practical problems We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
