The Chocolate Assistant does a variety of task's that include, shaping, garnishing, and enrobing.

Responsibilities Inspect and quality-check finished products Assist in the production of fine handcrafted chocolates Assist Chocolatier on the confectionary production line Piping, dipping and handcrafting chocolates Ability to follow recipes Ensure our high-quality product presentation is maintained Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment Knowledgeable in SafeServe standards and/or certification Ability to accurately weigh, count, measure, and perform basic math such as addition and subtraction May be assigned other duties as needed Skills, Traits and Experiences Commercial kitchen or culinary experience helpful but not required Prefer basic knowledge and skills of pastry and confectionary work An appreciation for aesthetics, symmetry, and standardization An eye for detail Well-organized and able to maintain a clean work area Patience while working on complex production projects Reliable, honest, and hardworking, and committed Flexibility and willingness to work longer hours during peak seasons Ability to perform repetitive tasks Good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity Ability to stand for a full shift Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach above shoulder level and below waist level Benefits Performance-based bonus Medical Insurance (Includes Wellness Incentive) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Company-matched 401K Voluntary life and disability plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Complimentary chocolate tastings throughout the year Discount on all products Founded in 1987, L.
